The wind was pretty sharp as we prepared to sail this afternoon but with a bright sky the light on the water was dramatic and I went up on deck to try and capture this. Instead I got, quite by chance, one of the best photos I have ever taken of a seagull silhouetted against the sun. Sorry I’m not going to put this photo online for fear it will be nicked but here is a consolation photo of the gull at least!!
The Captain had a difficult time exiting Gibraltar in the strong wind and unusually had to seek the assistance of two tugs to safely depart the quay.
Next stop Cadiz and third time lucky in getting to Seville!
