Tuesday 15th January 2013 ­ 0GMT: Santa Cruz: Tom Johnes Rocks!!

I can’t resist bringing you this photo with its amusing spelling of ‘Tom Jones’! These cameo portraits of famous people adorn the rocks below the Auditorio. An amusing end to my hike but with one more treat in store before departing Tenerife for Mindelo in Cape Verde. 

The evening brought a ‘local show’ aboard of four flamenco dancers – a storming, colourful, castanet clacking performance and a ‘stomping’ good end to the day!!
