True to the words of Flanders and Swan we saw lots of Gnu – Wildebeest. The males tend to lead a solitary life but spot another male and the bellows begin and they chase each other all over the place.
Wildebeest have strong front quarters and are built for speed and have excellent hearing and sense of smell but poor eyesight. The quote about the face was how a Ranger described this animal.
