I have already commented elsewhere that the tea was simply gorgeous! I think the whole thing is best described in pictures with a few appropriate comments.
In addition to the sandwiches you can see at the top of this stand there were delicious ‘egg and bacon sandwiches presented in an elegant tiers of three layers and pierced with a cocktail stick with a pearl top – not real of course!
The scones hiding on the second tier to the stand were also delicious – not quite up to 'moi' standard but pretty darn tasty.
The crockery by the way is Villroy & Bosch (I hope that is how you spell this brand name) porcelain.
