Thursday 28th February 2013 +4.0 hrs GMT: Dubai, United Arab Emirates An Appointment with a Big Bus The Atlantis Aquaventure Theme Park on the Palm Leaf

The Big Bus took me by the Atlantis Resort (See Photo) that is modelled on the Atlantis Paradise Island Resort in Nassau, the Bahamas and after the legendary, beautiful and prosperous island that was overwhelmed by the sea.  This Aquaventure theme park covers 160,000 square metres and Dolphin Bay – see below – a further 45 square metres, so you will not be surprised to learn that it houses a huge water complex including one of the highest vertical drop water slides of over 20 metres – only for the brave I should imagine – a bay where you can swim and play with dolphins in shallow water and a huge aquarium that contains 65,000 marine animals.
