A consolation of missing the Dubai Fountains was that I eventually found my way out to the terrace that is directly below the Burj Khalifa Tower, which holds the following records – but I should say at present – the tallest building in the world at over 800 (2625 feet) comprising 160 floors; tallest free standing structure; highest number of floors, highest number of occupied floors (Including an Armani Hotel); the highest outdoor observation deck; the elevator with the longest travel and the tallest service lift. If I had had time I would have ventured up to the observation deck on level 124 but that will have to await another visit.
So ended a long day having been up at 4.00am for the Balloon Trip!
