We made our way back to a five star hotel on the mountains about 15 minutes from Petra for a refreshing lunch including Bread & Butter Pudding made with Camel’s milk. If you haven’t tasted this you haven’t lived!! It was rich, creamy and full of flavour. I think I had mentioned in a posting some time ago that Camel’s milk is reputed to be the best there is.
I don’t remember much of the bus ride back to Aqaba but we arrived in what appeared to be a dust storm. In fact they had been loading a ship with phosphate and you could not see more than 200 metres through the dust haze!!
