As I write the ship is rocking about in a very heavy Mediterranean Sea and the temperature has dropped some 12 degrees Centigrade. We passed through the Suez Canal on Friday and yesterday I Undertook another long bus ride from Alexandria down to Cairo to visit the Pyramids and the Sphinx so feeling a bit jaded, although the pot holes and traffic calming bumps of Egyptian Roads are good practice for being tossed about this morning.
I only have today at sea before our next port of call Kusadasi in Turkey where I’m off to the ancient city of Ephesus.
