I have described this as a ‘magical stroll at the Taj Mahal’ because it was exactly that – a clear blue sky, a touch of haze adding a halo to the gleaming white marble in the mid-day sun, the gentle tinkle of the fountains, a balmy breeze just enough to ripple the water and provide a shimmer to the reflection of the turrets and domes in the water. The temperature was like a midsummers afternoon in the UK and there were not too many people around so plenty of opportunity to take photos at will and I did but have selected only a few to try and convey the true spiritual beauty of this place.
